Is Playland Park Open 2021?
After over a year of closure due to the pandemic, Playland Park in Rye is once again welcoming visitors. Beginning Saturday, the amusement park known for its Dragon Coaster, Dragonator and The Plunge, will be open for the 2021 summer season.
Why did Playland at the beach close? Just like the original amusement park, Playland Not-At-The-Beach will close on Labor Day to make way for condos. It was too expensive to move, so all the items will go up for auction in September, including Laffing Sal.
