If you want more kills just shoot a little bit at everyone on the enemy team. Don’t worry someone else will finish them off, you just want more elims. Don’t focus on stats just keep practicing and don’t let medals/stats make you feel you’re not doing good enough.

EDIT: Get a lot of space for your mouse if possible and preferably a good mouse with a good mouse pad. Lower the DPI, 400DPI or 800DPI. For your ingame sensitivity you should have it so that when you move the mouse across the mousepad in one sweeping motion your character turns about 180°.
